This palace is a notable construction from the end of the 13th century. It was reconstructed in the 14th century and again in the 16th, when the tall loggia was added.
The courtyard is very pretty.
On 1956, a museum was established here with the intention of re-creating a noble Florentine home between the 14th and the end of the 16th centuries, using original furnishings. There are also some valuable paintings, especially from the Gothic and Renaissance periods. You will find the small kitchen situated on the second floor of great interest.
From Via di Pora Rossa, go through Porta Santa Maria and you will be in picturesque Borgo di Santi Apostoli. This beautiful, tranquil Piazzetta del Limbo is dominated by the side of Palazzo Borgherini, now called Palazzo Rosselli-Del Turco. Here there is a lovely bas-relief of the second half of the 15th century which portrays the Madonna with the Child Jesus, a work by Giovanni and Francesco Fiorentino.
