This beautiful 17th century church was built for the religious congregation of the Teatini. The lavish façade was designed in 1647 by Pierfrancesco Silvani and then, between 1670 and 1688, it was completed with an exuberant, dynamic sculptural ornamentation which gave it its Baroque appearance
The interior is impressive and is distinguished by the unpretentious polychrome effect and by the deliberate scenography of the main altar in its relation to the side chapels.
