This church was originally a Romanesque building, and from this period it still retains a lovely portico of arches linking it with the road.

The interior was renovated at the beginning of the 18th century and you can see an elegant structure with plaster decorations that give a festive, theatrical effect. During some restoration work last century, the original Romanesque columns were revealed under the more modern pilasters.
