A very special exhibition that is held at the Observatory of Florence: "Crystal. The finest display of minerals in the world". The title is a whole program. On the other hand, the remarkable affuenza public exhibition in question shows that in fact the initiative is worthy of space, and no coincidence, the organizers have decided to postpone the closing date originally scheduled for October 2009, reaching close even flying June 30th, 2013!
The event was made possible with the collection of 500 valuable pieces from the collection of particle physics Alberto Giazotto. Giazotto, thanks to a passion developed since childhood, was able to accumulate over time rare pieces from all over the world, like Russia, China, Pakistan, Brazil, Afghanistan, to name just a few of many countries.
An exhibition of great visual impact, which would be a pity to lose.
